Sewage Treatment Plants are units that are able to clean the effluence to such a standard so that it can be discharged into a watercourse or soakaway safely. There are several types and makes of Sewage Treatment Plants – air, mechanical, pumped or gravity and again, should be serviced regularly and emptied annually.
